I received a FP notice to attend on 11/23/07 (the friday after thanksgiving). The lawyer feels that they may be closed on that day and would like me to reconfirm the appointment.

Hey
I am in a weird situation. My spouse would be graduating from business school soon ( summer). I want my parents and my aunt & her daughter to attend the graduation ceremony. My parents have an appointment coming up this week for visa (Hyderabad consulate).
For my aunt (37 yrs - house wife, husband passed away recently) and cousin ( 14 yrs - attending school), is it wise for me to send visa papers? I am a PR. My aunt has son who just finished 12th class and waiting for admission letters from graduate schools in India.
Can he be included in the papers for visitors visa? Or is it risky for him to attend now?
They have a set of sponsor papers from her sibling who is a citizen. those papers include all three of them (son, daughter and mother).
is it possible for only 2 of them to attend( mother and daughter only) while the I-134 mentions all three of them?
Is there any way out of this?

Hello All,
I have my EAD from Employer A. I have accepted fulltime offer from Employer B. I do not wish to file AC21 but would like to send G28 form to USCIS to change the representation so that I could recieve any queries from USCIS. My question is -
1. Would it be advisable to pick a attorney and ask him to file G28 so he could get any communications from USCIS.
OR
2. Would it be ok if I file G28 so I could get any communications from USCIS. Later, in case When I need to respond may be I could hire an attorney to respond to the query.
3. Also does not making address change in AR 11 automatically make the address change on all my cases like 485,EAD,AP etc? I am asking this because only AP and EAD are sent to me with address change but last query on 485 went to my attorney's address.
Also appreciate any of your advice to handle my case effectively after changing my employer.

My I 485 package was returned as it didnt have the approval notice of I 140, which was submitted a day later than I485 by my company.
It is such a frustrating situation as i have been waiting since 1999 for my GC , and when i got this golden chance my company was not serious enuf to submit the papers in time !
I am doubting the company , as they would have done all this intentionally to keep me in their co. for longer time!The returned letter they have provided me shows no reference no, file no, or either my name ! how can i believe if they have even submitted any papers for I485 or not ?
They say they can refile again .. but duno what to do ??

I received a status update email from USCIS yesterday on my wife's pending I-485 application. The status says "On November 5, 2007, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 as undeliverable�.
The status used to say "application is pending" as recently as a week ago. If some notice had indeed been returned to them, wouldn't the status have changed around Nov 5, 2007? Could this be an erroneous online status change? We completed our FP back in Oct 2007. we have received EAD, AP, etc. on our address properly, and haven't moved.

Let those who spread the false rumors that high-skilled foreigners "will work for less" that their lies are only hurting their own children and grand children.
